(Chauncy Pickles): Aboot? Are you Canadian?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Pourquoi vous assumerait une telle chose? C'est parce que je disait "aboot"? Ou parce que je parle francais?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

(Chauncy Pickles): I was making fun of your typo. My friend is Canadian and he always pronounces 'about' as 'aboot'.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Quelle coincidence! I've made a force of habit to always type 'aboot' as opposed to 'about'!

Definitely not... learning how to suffer in silence is what gets people to burst out and kill everyone at their workplace or their school. It's what forces you to avoid others and make your therapist your best friend. Having someone to talk to really helps, this has been proven to be true. Someone you can talk to that'll listen, without you spending $200 on. "I don’t think people are meant to be by themselves. That’s why if you find someone you acutally care about, it’s important to let go of the little things. Even if you can’t let go all the way. Because nothing sucks more than being all alone. No matter how many people are around.” ~Scrubs

But then they would just be repressing their anger and they wouldn't actually be getting along.

I don't disagree, but people would get along better. But your always going to have those people that you talk to, I guess people should just be careful who they voice their suffering to...suffering in silence makes you appear strong...which is the image that alot of people want...am I right?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not completely, you may appear to be strong, but if something is really bothering you and the person you're talking to is completely devoid of knowledge of your suffering then they might really push you, by talking about things that would worsen your grief. I.e. if a loved one just died and this peer is joking about death, you'd just have to roll with the punches
