+267 They need to make a first-person video game where the character has peripheral vision, amirite?

Where the center's clear, but around it is blurry? That'd be awesome! I'm a game designer, I'll make a pitch.

I don't know if this is exactly what you're thinking of, but I really like the way it is done in Mirror's Edge. Not very blurry but it looks really good. http://images.bit-tech.net/content_images/2009/01/mirrors-edge-pc-review/b10.jpg http://images.wikia.com/mirrorsedge/images/4/46/Mirrors-Edge-scr1.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_UfxtGpZ3GDw/ShyHFDP-xeI/AAAAAAAAABU/tuE0wjpEdmA/s1600-h/Red+1.jpg

They should make a gaming system where as it uses a helmet and wireless sticker sensors/gloves and shoes to project augmented reality into the real world. It could really be more of an IRL instructional manual. Like, one program could teach you martial arts, how to stretch, etc. And maybe another one teaches you how to dance. Play soccor, whatever. It's up to your imagination. It's not like its impossible either. Just some AR and bluetooth connection.
