No, it should be judged by how beautiful someone's soul is. That is the only beauty that lasts. But if you're talking about how physically beautiful someone is... then sure.

yeah, beauty should be judged by the personality, yadda yadda. if you're gonna judge physically, then just judge how the person chooses to present themselves. i mean, it's not like it's any less shallow either way. and anyway, the makeup only emphasizes what was there in some way beforehand.
