I'm pretty sure that my school doesn't even have a valedictorian anymore because they're afraid that it will hurt people's feelings.

(DictatorCourtney):Even if you don't publicize the valedictorian, you can't not have one. Unless your school totally did away with grades/GPAs.

They have ranking and whatnot but they wont recognize it. Instead they recognize people who have certain GPA or higher or something. They don't publicize the ranking either. Only you can see what your ranking is and every one lies.

My high school doesn't recognize valedictorians and salutatorians either. They just announce the top ten of the class 'in no particular order.'

I was one of twelve valedictorians, and more than half were NOT unattractive, and I'll even be objective and say that's not including myself.

I was one of about fourteen valedictorians, and I'd say everyone was attractive pretty attractive. In their own ways. Not tootin' my own horn, but I finally feel okay about my looks to include myself in that.

You can't have twelve or fourteen valedictorians..it doesn't work that way.

it does at my school. As long as you keep a 4.0, you're a valedictorian. I don't think that's fair though

I agree. I worked hard to get top grades (even if my class was small) and I deserved recogintion for that.

I almost yya this, but then I remembered I was at a graduation where the valedictorian was Miss Teen America. She's freaking gorgeous.
