People always tell me I look just like my dad. It annoyed me when I was a kid, because I took it as if they'd said I looked like a guy, but I really don't care anymore. We do have the exact same eyes, hair (natural color + frizz), etc.
Also, why is this post only directed at girls who look like their fathers? I'm sure there are some guys who feel awkward (when/if) they're told they look like their mother...
Nah. I'm always told I look just like my brother and dad, because I do. We have the exact same eyes, nose, and coloring. People who don't even know me will come up and ask if I'm related to my brother because we look that much alike. It's not weird, it's just true.
at least youre getting affirmation that he is, in fact, your dad.
I get told I look just like my dad all the time and I'm not sure how to take it.
Same here, my whole life. Even his new wife said I look like him. Awks.
Yes, I know that's what they mean. Still, the thought crosses my mind "am I manly-looking or something?" even if I know that's not what they mean.
I look exactly like my dad except I'm a girl. It's not weird, because I do look alot more like my dad than my mom.
Are you a girl? I was just wondering because you look a lot like your dad!
It's also really weird when someone says I look like my grandpa.
I hear me and my brother could be twins. Also very weird:/
Are you twins?
Haha no! Otherwise it'd make sense that'd I'd be asked that. He's two years younger than me. So I just find it weird.
Geez! That birth would be worthy of publicizing on TLC! Although I do know a guy who was born a month apart from his twin sister.
Seriously? I had no idea that was remotely possible! I must look into this;)
I look like my dad...except for my nose. He has a sharp jewish/greek nose.
I've heard that my mom looks like my dad, but my dad is my grandpa...
...what?
And his father before him, who is also my grandpa.

I'm used to it... I look exactly like my dad who looks exactly like his mom.
