+69 If you find out that your best friend's boyfriend is going to break up with her, you should tell her, even if you're friends with her boyfriend, amirite?

What the fu- no! Let him do it! A breakup has to be in person. Besides, your friend will probably think you were trying to break them up because you wanted to be in a relationship with him. D-R-A-M-A.

No you should stay out of it. Are you retarded?

In my opinion, that's just gettin into business that is none of yours. It's not your relationship, so stay out.

I think it really depends. I'm the type of person to ask people randomly what to do if I find out something like that about them and act accordingly.

No way, especially if he's your friend, too. He'll know the way he wants to break it to her. What, do you think you'll save your girlfriend heartbreak if you tell her her boyfriend is going to dump her, causing her to anticipate it and make herself crazy? What if he changes his mind, or it was just a rumor? Then you ruin a relationship by saying something like that. Leave it to the couple to handle their own business. If the boyfriend is cheating and breaking up with her for another girl, that's a different story.

Someone likes big drama.

No. You're just setting up the situation for disaster. If he's going to do it in a timely manner and won't string her along, then you'd be very wrong to tell her. All it would do would make her even more upset when she next sees him and create extra drama. It would be rude and WAY overstepping your bounds to say anything. It's his decision, he should get to tell her in his own words and it would make you.... an incredible bitch to say it for him. Unless, as I said, he's just being a dick and stringing her along needlessly, then it's more of a judgement call on your part.

what if he changes his mind, and realizes he never wanted to break up with her? then you just screwed up their relationship.

Many people have said it, I'm just reiterating it; It's NOT your business OR your place to tell your friend. Not only are you violating whatever trust there is between you and her boyfriend, but you're placing yourself in the middle of a relationship that you have no business being in. It's her boyfriend's job to talk to her and sort things out (and/or break up with her), not yours.

Even if he does break up with her, you should let her enjoy her last day(s). She doesn't need to worry (possibly over nothing) and it's not your business..

No way! It's none of your business! Keep out of it
