by Anonymous 12 years ago

No, because I don't live in Europe.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Er, could someone convert this to dollars per mile?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

/dollars per mile. wat.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh, I meant per gallon!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

@1332098 (RobotDevil): 3.78 liters a gallon means 3.78 pounds, which is around 7 bucks.

I believe a liter is a little more than a quart and there are 4 quarts in a gallon... I can't really help you with the money part, but that seems expensive, £4 roughly $3? I remember when it was a dollar a gallon, now theres some cheap shit

Here in the U.S I remember when a gallon of gas was less than a dollar. Now it's $3.39 (in Oklahoma). It costs me 80 dollars to fill my tank up :(

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's around $3.76/gallon in NY (it got up to like $4.11 a couple months back); $3.39 seems like a decent price.

back when you could go to the store with a dollar and come back with three loaves of bread, four can of potatoes, a bag of apples, six eggs and a bottle of milk. Of course you can't do that now, with all the security cameras - I stole that from somewhere. But yeah, gas prices got really high fast...

I remember those days, old chap. I was just a young lass...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Back in the day I could buy groceries for a month for a dollar! Oh wait...inflation means that dollar today would be 100...

I don't remember how much gas was when I got my license but I remember thinking $2.40 was too high.

I remember when it was R6 a litre, now it's over R10.
