The power in some parts of Chicago has been out for three or four days and some lady the news people were talking to on the street was lie, "It's the government! They're punishing the people who don't pay taxes!"

I just got my power back after 3 days of darkness and it's FUCKING BORING. To sum it up, I found Pokemon Blue one night. The next night, I had a level 50 Charizard, that's how bored I was.

This is funny if you don't think about it. There are hospitals that need electricity, and imagine how many robberies would happen if thieves knew there was no camera or security system to catch them.

There was a full NYC blackout around 2002 in August. One of the brightest cities in the world was completely dark. Imagine being in Times Square at the time. (The hospitals and important places had generators).
