+328 It's understandable when the older sibling is given more privileges and responsibilities than the younger sibling, but it is just WRONG the other way around, amirite?

My obnoxious 9 year old sister always gets the front seat no matter what, and it's been that way since she was about 5. She throws a fit when she can't sit in the front; once when I was with my dad picking her up from school, he made me get out and sit in the back for her. Stupid little bitch.

I think that it depends on the age difference. If the kids are only a year or two apart, then no (like my and my sister, for example. I'm 17, she's 18 and we have the same responsibilities and shit). But if it's a bigger age difference (like my cousins: one is 21 and the other is 13, and my other cousins: one is 26 and the other is 7) then yes.

Wow, I thought my sister and I had a huge age difference (15 years), but 19 years!

My twin brother and I have WAY more responsibilities around the house than my 19 year old brother

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Unless the younger sibling is more mature and responsible..

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, that's the case in my family. Except that I've gotten privileges and responsibilities at an earlier age than my brother because I can handle them better, but that's because I am more mature. I'm 16 and he's almost 20 and in jail.

It should normally be that way, I think, but my older cousin is an overconfident douche who gets everything he wants because he's my aunt's favorite. I'm the only one who ever pays attention to his little sister, which is probably why her list of favorite people goes like this: 1. Hanna Montana 2. Salina Gomez 3. FlyingGuineaPig

Seriously, you don't know how to spell Hannah OR Selena?

Nope :)

Yet somehow my 7 year old brother gets more money per week than me and is allowed to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. :/
