So many people think they really "want" something, but essentially buying material objects can never satisfy someone completely and can't give them inner joy.

I didn't mean material objects. Yes, if that's the only thing you really want to be happy, money can buy it. But if you want good relationships with people that care about you, it can't. That's the whole point of the post.

But you said it depends on if it can buy you happiness, when I really think nothing can buy happiness. Because like you said, you want good relationships with people that care about you, but you can't ever buy those. No one can be truly filled with just material things
