TLC's "Surprise Homecoming" is one of their best ideas for a show. amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
There are already 2 other stations with the same exact show already running, so no. They stole the idea for that show.

Well it's still one of the best shows on TLC, regardless.
by Anonymous13 years ago
That I'll agree with. Its not like there's much competition for best show on TLC. lol I do like extreme couponing though.
by Anonymous13 years ago
haha me too. It blows my mind that they get to leave the store without paying in some cases or barely paying anything at all! Like im impressed enough to want to do it, but then i lose interest and forget about trying lol.

I'd hire a secretary to do it. You'd only have to pay her minimum wage, and then you'd save like 34760347 dollars a month with the coupons. lol
by Anonymous13 years ago
You, sir, just had one of the most brilliant ideas i've ever heard.
...the only problem with it is, it's just SO hard to find a good secretary these days...
by Anonymous13 years ago
I think they should hire secretaries to do it for homeless shelters.

In one episode is saw, a lady's bill was over $1000 and she only payed $0.55. WTF!!!!
by Anonymous13 years ago
I just watched one a few days ago where this lady had $2,300+ worth of groceries and when they calculated all the coupons, - $57.31. She ended up just getting a giftcard to the store for that amount.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Thats insane!!! Then they have those HUGE stockpiles in their basement or something...how do they use all of that stuff before it expires?? :P
by Anonymous13 years ago
A lot of the time, they donate it to charity. Those people find couponing to be a hobby, and don't really care about keeping the products. No one needs 2,056 boxes of Frosted Flakes anyways.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Of all the episodes I have seen, only one person labeled products with expiration dates...how cool it would be to have a stockpile...especially when you have friends over!
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sounds stupid. Why do the families need a washed up country star just to be reunited?
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's not like TLC programs are the pedigree of high-class television.
by Anonymous13 years ago
We can all agree its better than Toddlers and Tiaras
