It's amazing that we've been able to group, classify, & name so many animals but what we tend to forget is that these animals have no idea what their name is, for example, a skunk doesn't know it's a skunk, amirite?

I'm sure my pets know what they are. My dad calls them "cat" and "dog" instead of their actual names.

The skunk knows its a skunk but just doesn't know that english-speaking humans call it a skunk.

Hmm i dunno.. Skunks probably know that they are skunks since whenever people see them the first thing they do is scream "SKUUUUUUNK!".
