Definitely describes how I felt after looking up the lyrics for Foster The People's "Pumped Up Kicks." It's not that I have a problem with songs about killing people, but the tune and story just don't go together very well.

This made me think of A Cautionary Song by the Decemberists. I first only listened to the first line and after that I was just listening to the music and the catchy melody, but after truly listening to the lyrics and understanding I saw that it´s not just some happy song about a lady going for a walk at night, but of a woman being forced to prostitute herself to a group of dirty sailors.
