When you swat an insect, you make sure it's dead because you don't want it to suffer, amirite?

I don't know if I'm the only one who does this..but I spray various liquids on it like Windex, water, carpet cleaner (whatever I can find right there) and watch it suffer till it slowly dies.

or because you want it dead

It depends on what it did to me. If it bit/stung me, I'd want it to suffer. If it's just annoying me, I'd only kill it.
