+571 A heat wave? In the summer? But that NEVER happens! Except every year. At this exact same time. Since forever, amirite?

Except it doesn't... the sun goes through cycles and the general climate changes do to that... or something along those lines. Like in late 70s everyone was afraid of "Global cooling"

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's completely irrelevant

No... pretty sure I wouldn't have said it if it was. The post is being sarcastic about how this happens every year, "since forever", but that's not true. It hasn't been happening for more than 2 or 3 decades.

He is saying that it is hotter in the summer than the other seasons

Yeah but people only talk about the heat waves when they're dangerously high. And it hasn't always been dangerously high

Actually, some of the hottest heat waves on record have been recorded in the past 5 years, and the record extends far past the last 20 to 30 years.

I feel left out of this heat wave. I live in Canada and Ontario, New Brunswick, Quebec and a couple other provinces have this heat except Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. I live in Ontario but went on vacation to Nfld and ended up having to wear 5 layers of clothing to keep warm and dry while all my friends were frying. -.- (Hooray for me complaining!)
