Drugs being legal would solve a lot more problems than it would create, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
natural marijuana at least.
by Anonymous13 years ago
because we really need more stoned people..
by Anonymous13 years ago
There's nothing wrong with stoned people.

unless they drive 0_0
by Anonymous13 years ago
Ah true. But by that logic alcohol should also be illegal. But then again, they tried that and it didn't work out so well...
by Anonymous13 years ago
yea, too bad :/
by Anonymous13 years ago
If we made it legal, sure it would help the economy, but it would be so much easier for it to get into the wrong hands. It's illegal, deal with it.
by Anonymous13 years ago
How would it be easier to get into the wrong hands? And anyway, who are the wrong hands? Underage people? Cuz people my age have no problem getting drugs. Drugs are easy to get anyway...
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well, that's why I said easier. Lots of kids get fucked up on pot real early. I just don't want more of it to happen. I met a kid named Mark on my cruise this year, and he told me his entire life story. He started smoking pot in 6th grade, the FUCKING 6th grade, and stopped in the end of his 8th grade year. He contemplated suicide, got into shit with the cops, lost his friends, and when he stopped smoking pot, and ditched his fake pot friends, his life started to improve, and he is one of the funniest kids I think I've ever met. And you know what his words of wisdom were? "Don't smoke weed, ever. Your life will suck more dick than Pamela Anderson if you do."

That's one person's case. I know a ton of potheads that have great lives.
by Anonymous13 years ago
You know 2000 pounds of potheads? Damn..
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wouldn't be surprised if you were high when you wrote this o_0
by Anonymous13 years ago
I've never done any drugs.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I don't care if people do drugs, It's their choice
by Anonymous13 years ago
It might be their choice, but what about the people who their choice affects? Do they get a choice, too? If a person can find some way to do drugs without affecting anyone else (which is highly unlikely at least with hardcore drugs like meth), then they can go ahead, granted they don't do too much. We don't need the emergency rooms crowded with people ODing. My mother is an emergency room RN, and she sees it all the time. The hospital has to use their own LEGAL drugs to save these people's lives. My mother along with others has had to wrestle with druggies in order to tranquilize them because they were jeopardizing the safety of other professionals and patients. She doesn't know any drug addicts, and it still affects her.

Yeah, your right! I should have added 'as long as it doesn't hurt others around them'
by Anonymous13 years ago
Even drugs as devastating as methamphetamine? I think that could directly lead to other crimes (so these users might still end up behind bars) and prostitution. Let's say it did empty the jails. It might still overcrowd hospitals and psychiatric facilities. Meth is known to cause psychosis, and don't say that's only for people who are addicted or are regular users. It can take only a week to get addicted to meth. Plus, it increases sexual desires, so there would be a whole lot more sex going on leading to STDs and a whole host of other issues.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Alright fine, meth could stay illegal. Or the government could engineer a new type of meth that is pure and doesn't have all that weird poisonous shit in it.

i feel like as long as it doesn't do harm to society, we should have the personal freedom to decide what we put in our bodys.
if a drug is dangerous to your health or life or whatever and you understand that then so be it. as long as there's no harm done to others.
why is alcohol legal when there are more alcohol related deaths in the us than all of the illegal drugs combined.
ere's no harm done to others.

cell phone typing fail.
by Anonymous13 years ago
There's more alcohol deaths because, ooh big surprise, it's legal
by Anonymous13 years ago
Marijuana, maybe. I can see arguments for both sides,
But heroin, meth, cocaine? Are you fucking kidding me?
