+237 Saying you should be able to urinate in public because you can breast feed in public and they're both natural is disgusting. amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

And not comparable. Urine will go on the ground, and people have no choice but to come in contact with the germs and smell. You can take your eyes away from the baby covering their moms boobs. I see more skin on billboards, I don't see what the problem is.

I agree. I think people just feel uncomfortable about breastfeeding because the baby is, well, drinking and sucking (and sometimes biting) on the womans breasts.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Was it really necessary to explain to us what the baby is doing? Makes you sound like a pervert...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

An alternative might be because it reminds us that, despite how civilized we like to think of ourselves, we're still animals.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is well-said. People are calling breastfeeding disgusting, but I don't think it is. It might sound like a double-standard because I think urinating in public is disgusting. That is mostly because it is unsanitary, though. You don't really see much when a woman is breastfeeding if she is careful.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

yeah, and with that argument, you can also have sex in public, poop in public, puke in public, etc. people are kinda dumb

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I don't see the problem with breastfeeding, but that's their point. You can't poop have sex piss puke in public, but you can breastfeed even though they're all natural. But yeah, those people are kind of dumb, because breastfeeding being natural isn't the reason it's allowed and all the other arent

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Puking in public is disgusting, but it's rarely voluntary.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think breastfeeding in public is disgusting and i think breast feeding stations should be put in bathrooms just like diaper changing stations are.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Would you like to eat or drink milk in a public bathroom? I would not even eat in the bathroom at my house. I think the baby would be more susceptible to germs if this was the case. If it really bothers people, though, maybe there should be separate areas of restaurants and such, like some places have smoking areas.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Either way works for me. I mentioned bathroom because it seems like the easiet fix for this and most restaurants have pretty nice bathrooms, at least the ones I go to. As long as they have something private so the mother doesn't have to feel exposed and the rest of the patrons don't have to feel gross. Every time I see a woman breastfeed in public she doesn't know how to do it properly without flashing herself constantly. I don't mind the process but when I'm eating I don't want to see milk leaking out of a boob.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Hooter hiders. I've never seen a woman flash the public. Her breast is covered by the babies head and usually a blanket.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well I've seen women whip it out while they're getting the baby situated and the entire time it's just hanging out.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I haven't.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well that's good for you. But just because you haven't means that other people have to be subjected to it?

Congrats on being an asshole, feels good to do that anonymously doesn't it?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, it does. Thanks for making me feel that much better with that comment too. If you're this ridiculously sensitive, this is not the place for you.

Aww look who's being sensitive now :) Btw you fail at trolling, if you were trying to get a reaction by that you should have done something other than act like a retard.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

A troll is someone who does something to get a reaction. Does it look like I;m doing something to get a reaction? No, I'm just an asshole, like you said.

Is it true that pregnant women are legally allowed to urinate in public in England? I heard it somewhere but was too lazy to verify it.
