+228 It would be fun to make up ridiculous symbolism in Lord of the Flies just to annoy the teachers:"Ralph built a hut out of wood-wood is trees- trees are made into paper- paper is written on- THEREFORE RALPH IS A JOURNALIST!", amirite?

We did that in my AP class! We were talking about how Simon was like Jesus and the Lord of the Flies represented evil, i think? Someone compared it to Batman and joker. I compared it to Phineas and Ferb, considering the relationship between Doofenshmirtz and Perry. So, we made a breakthrough that day. Perry the Platypus is Jesus. I don't think our teacher appreciated that, but it became the running joke of the year.

I tried to convince my teacher that the plane crash killed everyone on the plane except Ralph, but still knocking him unconscious. All of the events were his subconscious trying to wake him up, but Jack's mission was to kill him. When they were all rescued, that was Ralph's body waking up, just to find himself stranded on an island.
