The Nazi party and Germany are not the same thing. Germany was actually the first country to be opressed by Hitler. Do you think that a guy looking to rid the world of supposedly "unworthy" people would forget the ones in his own backyard?

I'm guessing it would be similar to how Americans are taught about slavery. (And other countries too since slavery was pretty widespread)

Most of Germany did not support the nazis. One of my favorite quotes on the subject is "Everyone forgets that the first country the nazis invaded was their own".
