I don't dispense very much pity

I am one of those with a very poor immune system. I have to go to school with colds, sinus infections, and pretty much anytime after I've been on antibiotics and/or is fever free for 24 hours. There is a limit for days you can miss that I break every year even though I go sick some days. We got a letter to talk to the principal once. It said,"Your child had been excessively absent. Please come talk to the principal about this problem." My parents just said something like she already comes to school sick. Do you want her coming to school with the flu or pneumonia? My principal this past year was much more understanding.

No, it doesn't make me feel "pity" or "admiration," because I believe a lot of why people get sick has to do with the choices they make in life. I am a 28-year-old female Gemini, and I get maybe ONE mild cold like every 18 months on average. I haven't seen a doctor about one since third grade, and I usually go to school/work/college with them because they are so mild. I used to get multiple colds every school year when I was 6-18 because I'd never attended a daycare/preschool and had therefore averaged only a couple at ages 0-5. But my 20's have been my healthiest decade of life because I am a childless, virgin "lesbian," as defined by my hatred of men. So no I do NOT feel "sorry" for sickly people because they tend to be the ones making choices that cause them to be sick often. For example, younger girls get fewer colds than boys, but those stats reverse for women. However, if they would STOP HAVING MEN'S BABIES & STOP TEACHING MEN'S CHILDREN, they might remain the healthy ones. So until the rest of the world starts taking a daily Cod Liver Oil pill, sleeping 8 hours a night, & avoiding people as I do, I feel no pity. And no, I WON'T stay home with my ONE cold every 12-18 months!
