+447 The people who don't have any siblings miss out on a lot of experiences in life, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Like total annoyingness?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, that too, but there is just nothing like having siblings. Your friends can be your "siblings", but they will never quite be your actual siblings. You just can't have the same experiences between knowing each other since birth, spending the holidays together, going on vacations, spending an entire childhood together, an yes arguing, but it also includes making up.

Wait, we were supposed to make up?!?!

Eventually... My bro and I unsaid to continuously fight, but for some reason this summer when he came home from college, we rarely fought. Maybe it was me realizing it was going to be his last time living at home or just that we matured. I thought when he went off to college a few years ago that I would never miss him, but I do. My sis graduated college already and now I'm kinda like an only child, and it depends on the day if I like it or not...

Oh crap!!!! I gotta go get a cake! :P

Hahaha... We moved him back in a week ago. I was like yes I'm an only child again! Then after that I thought dang it! I'm an only child again...

I honestly don't think I would be the person I turned out to be had I not grown up with my brothers. They tought me so much.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Not how to spell apparently.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

What did I spell wrong?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"tought" is suppose to be "taught". (that is what you meant right?)

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Oh. Sorry.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well, you forgot a comma, so who are you to judge?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yes, important experiences. Such as getting pissed off when they hog the bathroom, getting pissed off when they eat your food, getting pissed off when they get you in trouble. Oh and don't forget the excitement when they finally go to college!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Excitement, but then you realize life is boring without them. I was extremely bored after the first few months that they were in college.

Lucky bastards

Having siblings is hard but it's one of the most amazing, fulfilling relationships to have.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Half brother, I get all the good stuff of having a big brother with none of the constant annoying-ness of having him live with me 8D

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The good and the bad. I have been in a month long visit to my dad so I haven't seen my sister or mom in a month, apparently my sister is constantly asking when I come home and I can't wait until I'm home either, but we both know that 5 minutes after I'm back we are going to start arguing and then silently make up 10 minutes later.

Even if they're nightmares, it teaches you how to compromise and live with difficult people.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Wholeheartedly agree. I've noticed that my friends and I who have siblings tend to be more easygoing about things; we're better about going with the flow and working around our finicky friends. I feel like we're also better about sharing...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

You can say the same about people with siblings.
