You're right, well that's what anthropologists think anyway. Because men typically hunted and spent their day mostly in silence and communicating by gestures and body language where women spent time in larger groups and had more of a need to verbally communicate. Also In females, the region associated with language and social interaction is significantly larger than males, and located in both cerebral hemispheres, not just the left (as in males).
