Not necessarily. I suppose your concept of beauty depends on your philosophical outlook. I mean, I can find beauty in a lot of things, one of which being abandoned buildings that have been desecrated and overgrown. Those places sure as hell aren't clean, but I find them inexplicably beautiful.

old things are also beautiful, infact antic things attract more; if those abandoned building are kept clean then imagine how more beautiful it will be.

Oh certainly. I love antique objects/areas that are well intact But sometimes seeing something that was once great and populated, now abandoned, is sort of beautiful to me. In a sad way. I'm not sure why.

even i like them and it is an important feature for pre-historic studies ;that is why it is necessary to look after those monuments/places and maintain its cleanliness.

No, I don't necessarily mean historical sites, just abandoned, forgotten places left to rot.

ok even those abandoned sites; dont you think that they will seem more beautiful if kept clean. ( let the places look as it is, keep it clean in terms of insects and bad smell, etc)
i liked the above link :)

Well, I suppose so. My point is that it's the fact they've been left untouched that's beautiful. It's sort of hard for me to explain.
by Anonymous12 years ago
i understood that you like those things as it is when left abandoned; but , hygiene also plays important role :)

I think there is two kinds of beauty.
The industrial kind ( like looking over a big city and seeing the bright lights)
and natural beauty ( like flowers and trees and the like)
by Anonymous12 years ago
natural beauty is clean too; for eg: islands, himalayas, etc all those places which are not destroyed by humans :)

I think it's beautiful when people abandon their own lives to live in poverty, dirt, and discomfort to help people in less fortunate places. That sure isn't clean.
by Anonymous12 years ago
IF it is not clean then first thing is to make their living place clean; hygiene is the most important factor.
by Anonymous12 years ago
I can't disagree with you more. Sure cleanliness is good. But they need food and water, and through helping these people the most important factor they receive is love and hope.

love is a different thing, it is a feeling; even an dirty kid full of mud will be most beautiful to his mother; but, his mother will clean his son because she knows that his son will look more beautiful and remain healthy if he is kept clean :)

"Cleanliness is godliness and God is empty, just like me" ~Billy Corgan
by Anonymous12 years ago
god is empty; what do you mean by it? explain :)
by Anonymous12 years ago
This is true in the sense that when I think about what I find attractive in people, the main thing is that they look clean and healthy, and this is much more important than the shallow things like make-up, weight and how expensive their clothes are etc.

true :)

In Japanese, the words for "clean" and "beautiful" are pronounced and spelled the same.
