It's pathetic that people focus on her weight so much...she's a damn singer, not a model; what she looks like shouldn't even be relevant. Yes, image is important when it comes to the entertainment industry, but having a few extra pounds shouldn't be that big of a deal for a singer...she has talent, her weight isn't even important to anybody else. It's shit like this that ruins the music industry.

I agree with you, but the only time anyone ever brings up her weight is to say how we shouldn't concentrate on her weight. Can we all just forget this one sided argument already?

That's true, but the point I was trying to make is that it shouldn't even come up, people shouldn't even feel the need to "defend" her...it's almost implying that it's an issue. All of the people who keep talking about her weight, whether accusing or defending, need to shut the hell up and move on.

It is an issue, a major issue. Do you seriously think this just concerns her? Female celebrities are berated for being anything less than perfect, and society tells them perfection is being stick thin. This doesn't affect only "overweight" celebrities either. Most every famous, already beautiful, female I can think of has slimmed down as the years went by and their fame grew. Jennifer Lopez, Cameran Diaz, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Jessica Simpson, ... in fact do you recall a few years back when the press was calling her "Jumbo Jess" and making a huge deal about her "mom jeans?" Did you know she was a size FOUR at the time?? That's fucking sick. This isn't going away if we continue to ignore it, and sweetheart, it's a major fucking issue.

She's already said she wants to be that size forever. It shouldn't matter though, she's a singer not a model for a weight-loss commercial. She's also said something along the lines of "I'd rather produce a great album and be 300 pounds than produce a shit album and look like Nicole Richie." Fuck anyone who thinks otherwise, Adele is a fucking legend.

Adele is famous for all her quotes saying how she's happy being fat, and also for refusing to lose weight for her music videos, so why do people still make comments like this
