It depends. There a few comedians who's act let's them pull it off. But as far as the comedians who keep a straight face, it makes it even funnier when they start cracking up.

I've only made myself genuinely laugh twice at my own jokes.. I think its normal. Much Hedberg could laugh during his set and still be hilarious.

lol he was actually the inspiration to this post. He does smile and laugh sometimes, but a lot of the time he keeps a straight face too. Either way, it's Tosh, so it's completely acceptable.
