When you're IMing, you split your sentences up into multiple lines for no apparent reason, amirite?

I do this so I don't keep the person I'm talking to waiting, or changing the conversation/ interrupting me while I type.

I never understood why people did this . . . I always just typed out everything I had to say and hoped the person I was talking to wouldn't disconnect just because I was writing a full sentence.
