Before I'm downvoted into oblivion, let me elaborate on what anon just said. "Vegetable" is only a culinary term, not a scientific one. "Fruit" meanwhile has a specific scientific definition. Any plant can be a vegetable (including fruits like tomatoes and cucumbers).

I was just curious as to how you would explain it. It's a fruit, but like you said there's an unofficial culinary definition. I don't think chefs or Congress should get to decide what's a fruit and what's a vegetable, and the tomato thing gets to me. It's so clearly the ovary and seeds of a plant! I understand how people would say green beans are a vegetable instead of a fruit, but not tomatoes! I spent a month learning basically everything there is to know about plants and their classifications, so this stuff is still on my mind, haha.

You're saying trans people are gay but straight? What if they're bisexual? :P And either way, being transgender technically doesn't make much difference as to whether you're gay or straight, and it definitely wouldn't make you both.

Nope. I'm saying trangendered people taste surprisingly fruity despite their high vegetable content. But I do know a few trans people who identify as gay but straight since their biological gender is the the opposite of their sexual preference.
