No, it tells girls that it's alright for your man to be abusive towards you because "he'll change". In the movie he actually tells Belle that she can starve if she's not going to eat with him.

I do think it's a great Disney movie, but that's not why. I really wish people would look past the morals of it and focus more on how entertaining it is.
