Itching and scratching are two different things. Itching is the feeling that you need to scratch, but scratching is what you do when you're itchy. So, if someone says, "hang on, I need to itch", they should say, "hang on, I need to scratch". Amirite?

It's a serious problem. I've seen things in books like "I itched my arm." That doesn't even make sense.
