I thought she was young even when I was watching the show in elementary school, since she looked older than 13/14.

But wasn't there that episode where she wanted her mom to buy her a bra..? I would think by 8th grade she would've worn a bra. She was probably even younger.

Well the Lizzie McGuire Movie was her graduating from middle school, so the series most likely took place while she was in middle school- 7th and 8th grade.
