You'll sometimes find it in a bag you buy.. I guess it helps but on the outside it says DO NOT EAT! which always tempts me to eat it but then I'd die

Is it that stuff that comes in shoe boxes and purses and stuff to absorb moisture? Cuz I saw on yahoo articles if you ate it, nothing would happen. It was actually one of Taco Bell's ingredients.

Iodized salt won't kill you, they created it to help with iodine deficiency, which can cause mental retardation. Most the table salt you can buy is iodized. I think silvershaow6 is right, maybe you meant silica gel.

Well I usually get tempted to eat anything that says DO NOT EAT! Just like I usually get tempted to trespass when it says PRIVATE PROPERTY
