When I first heard about them, I thought they sounded really pretty because I thought they put real-looking feathers in your hair, but then I found out that they're just striped locks of fake obnoxiously-colored hair. What a disappointment.

Sometimes they do. If it's just a tiny strip, it can look cute. But some people go over board with trends that aren't that great to begin with.

I saw a 1 or 2 year old with one of those feathers in her hair. I don't know why someone would put those feathers in their baby's hair.
