+347 There is a difference between eavesdropping and overhearing. If you're eavesdropping, you're trying to listen to something. But if you're overhearing, you're just hearing something unintentionally. And then someone blames you for overhearing something they said. It's not like you were going to run away covering your ears and screaming, "la, la, la, la, la!", amirite?

Totally agree. Eavesdropping is when they're quiet and you're spying on them. Overhearing is when they're loud and you hear it by accident
