+298 You've had a teacher who never gives A+'s because "there's always room for improvement" amirite?

My algebra teacher won't give us anything over a B on anything on less we add something extra to it. Half the time there's not even anything to add. It's the most irritating thing ever.

My school just doesn't give A+'s period. :/

From 93-100 is an A for us. There is no A+.

Once, my teacher took off 1 point for spelling and grammar, even though he said that he couldn't find any errors.

My school has a 100 scale grading system, and I hate when a teacher won't give anything above an 85 the first marking period to leave room for "improvement." If I got a 100 on every test and project, did all of my hw, and participated a lot, why shouldn't I get a 100? I have some teachers who give 100s, but some of them don't (not that I would get a hundred in those classes, but still), and it's so annoying! Give students what they deserve, and stop playing games with their grades.

I once got a perfect score on a quiz, and then the teacher gave me 93% :/

I once took my finished English essay into class a week early, gave it to my teacher and told her I needed 100% on it, and ask for any advice or improvements. She told me it was perfect and not to change anything. I handed it in the week later and when I got it back, she'd given me an 80% so I confronted her and she said "Well, 80 is a very good mark!" It's not like I'm trying to get a scholarship or anything...
