Non Americans: You feel a little sad when you see a post about something in the US that everyone seems to love and you've never heard of it, or you know you will never have it, amirite?
I used to live in Germany and when I moved back to America I found plenty of things we don't have. Like good public transportation outside of large cities, kinder eggs, a proper drinking age, castles, being able to travel to nearby countries just for a day trip.
Actually I found those in the international food section of the supermarket and they weren't really that great. They were supposed to be breakfast foods but I'd think of them as more of a dessert food.
What do the occupy protests have to do with freedom?
It's a bunch of people butthurt over wealth distribution. Perhaps if they didn't go to artschool for a year to obtain an shitty degree and didn't spend 14K on Apple products annually, they wouldn't be protesting.
It's called capitalism, and the hippies need to deal with it.
The fact that they can't get Kinder Surprises in America makes up for it.
What are Kinder Surprises?
Chocolate eggs with little toys inside.
My dad had a friend who would bring a bunch back whenever he went to visit family in Germany.
I. Want. One.
Or twenty. Twenty would be good.
And the chocolate is the yummiest chocolate I've ever tasted.
I also saw this commercial for something called Kinder Delice, are those good, too, may I ask?
Haven't had those, but I've had the Happy Hippos
and Bueno
and just the plain chocolate bars.

Though we do have free refills...
Pop tarts

Can't get Pandora where I live, shit sucks.
Cheap everything! I swear iPhone's are about $300 to $400 bucks in the US but I can't get one for under $1000 where I live.
Yet you gave us Nutella... apparently nice guys finish last even COUNTRY-wise!
The fact America is fucking itself in its own ass...meh.
inb4 Europe goes bankrupt thanks to Greece and Italy.
Mmm I love FREEDOM
Well obviously the rest of the world doesn't have freedom so you win.
sarcasm?....
Yes haha
Are you really calling freedom American? Have you heard about the occupy marches lately?
You mean the ones where the government is allowing people to protest them?
This
The government asked youtube to take down videos of the police brutality and other protest related videos and they did...

umm fill me in what do the occupy marches have to do with freedom?
Police and government trying to take away freedom of speech.
A group of people unable to even make some demands trying to shut down worthless parts of New York (and completely failing at it.)
