OP thinks you shouldn't put butter and brown sugar on sweet potatoes because their name says they are sweet? Even though they are actually kind of bitter in my opinion.

I really only like butter on mine and brown sugar just seems way too sweet to me, but let people eat what they want to eat without telling them they're going to die. Some extra sugar and butter isn't going to make them keel over.
