In NY, we have "Regents", mandatory state tests. If you fail, you retake them. They're super easy. You have to be a complete dunce to not pass, because they give a point curve and the questions are easy. With barely studying, I got a 93. So girl failed them and was talking to her friend on Facebook wall-to-wall. She was all, "lollll i failed my regentzzz. can u help mii studying for them? im so stupid. lollll" She seemed so proud. It was just like, "Ha. Wow. Failing is not something to be proud of."

I was failing my Geometry and Biology class all year until the regents. I got a 96 on both :D

I got a 97 on the US History Regents. I was sooo happy. It's the highest grade I ever got on one. The only one I even came close to failing was Spanish, but I got in the 70s.

Well, Spanish is a bit tricky. They start teaching us really late, and there are so many rules and crap. Especially with preterit. I hate preterit.

Depends on what you consider a horrible grade. My friend thinks a B is one of the worst things you can get in her AP College Calculus class.
