+274 You don't understand how some people are permanently maimed in seemingly minor car crashes, yet stunt drivers can drive off a ramp, fly 100 feet through the air, hit the ground, roll 12 consecutive times and catch on fire, but still walk away unharmed, amirite?

They know how to protect themselves. My first accident I watched happen, so I tensed up and braced myself. Baaad. Second accident (both NOT my fault) I relaxed and walked out fine. Its like when a drunk driver hits someone and the innocent party is fucked but the drunko walks away fine.

//Of course// they weren't your fault. smirk

Definitely not. The first one dude rear ended me. I'd already been stopped at the light for over a min before he got in my lane. And hit my at 50+, in a 30. The second I wasn't driving.

Stunt drivers also have tons of safety precautions and whatnot. Their cars are specially built to withstand rolls and whatnot and not kill them. Normal cars aren't reinforced like that.

Or like they do in movies! Seriously, what is that shit? I once ran into street light going on like 20km/h and almost cracked my head open.
