You don't have to give it to other people... if you can create your own custom firmware, then you can also modify it the way you want it, because you sort of know how it works.

Yeah, and be called a bastard by all my friends who find out I own the only jailbroken 4s in the world? And waste time learning how, doing it, while knowing that many people are already doing it? I'd just get an older model for the convenience.
