December is like the Friday of the months, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's December, December
Gotta get down on December
by Anonymous13 years ago
Oh because it's the last day of the week, and decemeber is the last month of the year. Clever aren't you?
by Anonymous13 years ago
No, it's because December is what you look forward to the most and so is Friday.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Why do you look forward to December?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Cause it's a double holiday month, man!
Most Months only have 1(important) holiday: February-V Day, March- St. Patty's, April- Easter, May- Memorial day, July- 4th of July, etc. but December has both Christmas and New Years. Not only that but there's also Hanukkah and Kwanza so even if you don't celebrate Christmas there's plenty to look forward to.

New years is actually in January, but either way do you actually think that cause I don't know anyone that looks forward to december just because it has two holidays.
by Anonymous13 years ago
New years eve is still in December, I don't know many people who actually cares about new years day. And its not just because of two holidays it's because the whole month is just so festive. But hey think about it how you want, doesn't matter to me :)

In here in Australia, even if you don't celebrate any kind of religious/cultural holiday, you get 6 weeks of holidays. And it's summer. :D
by Anonymous13 years ago
Saturday is the last day of the week, actually.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Schoolweek* my apologies
by Anonymous13 years ago
It's actually Sunday, since Sunday and Saturday are what is called "weekEND". Mostly only America starts the week on something that is also the weekEND.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Actually according to Hebrew calendars, traditional Christian calendars, Sunday is literally the "first day". While according to the International Organization for Standardization ISO 8601 Sunday is the seventh and last day of the week. I took this straight off of Wikipedia. Also for most western counties Sunday is the day of rest; the United States seems like it goes along with the Christian way because that is it's predominant religion.

I got mine off Wikipedia as well. I didn't read the reasons because those are irrelevant here, I read the countries of each week kind. It starts on Sat, for example, in the middle east, on Monday in the entire fucking world almost, and on Sunday in USA, Canada and Mexico. That means American countries.

I'd like to think Monday is the beginning of the week and Sunday that bitter sweet day that it's still part of the weekend but also the end of it leading into that dreadful Monday.

If a snake is lying in a circle, its tail is leading to the head but that doesn't make it part of the head.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah I should just enjoy my Sundays.
by Anonymous13 years ago
...and then January comes along.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Right as I saw this post I said to myself: "There is most definitely going to be a Friday reference, and...
by Anonymous13 years ago
At least when you're still going to school, May=Friday, June/July=Saturday and August=Sunday.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I woulda guessed May was the Friday, since it's the last work day before a break.
by Anonymous13 years ago
