Okay i am so confused! can someone please explain to me what sopa and pipa are!?!

It gives the US government the right to censor or take down websites that let you download things illegally, or that let you get to a website that allows illegal downloading. It basically means the Internet is no longer a free place anymore.

It blocks their ability to display websites. It also means they can be restricted or censored because you can get to piracy sites from Google.
