It's better to beg ignorance on a matter than to give an unsupported opinion. We are all more ignorant than we realize, and someone who spouts off their mind all day is going to be shown as a fool eventually, amirite?

I think it would be better to be 'open-minded'; the word 'ignorance' implies a lack of desire to learn.
