Yes, an iPhone has material value. Virginity is a spiritual concept, but to most people, it's a meaningless label for sexuality.

Why is it sad? Virginity is a social construct that means nothing to many people. Iphones, on the other hand have uses and material value.

This girl in my class lost her iPhone today. She's such an attention whore, though; I'm beginning to wonder if it was all just an act. True story. (:
