If SOPA passes, we should all post links to the Pirate Bay on Senate.gov, because then they'd have to censor or shut down their own website, amirite?

If SOPA passes, there will be no Pirate Bay.

Yes there will be. The US government can't shut it down.

They're not automatically getting rid of all sites that contain links to sites with pirated comments, they're removing sites that don't put enough effort into deleting the articles/web pages that link to those pirated sites.

If sopa where to pass (god forbid, I hope it doesn't) I wish it would just censor those sites that breach the terms in America instead of shutting them down completely and ruining it for the rest of the world.

The Pirate Bay is Swedish, meaning the US government can't do anything to it. They can censor it from the US, but people are quick, and will find a way around the censors.
