Once, when I was a kid, I had to fundraise for a breast cancer charity and my mom drove me to the rich neighborhood to get donations. I hated going door-to-door anyways, but you can understand why this would be worse. At the first house we went to, the man answering the door said 'You're not from around here, are you?' and I never went fundraising again and that is my awkward fundraising story
