+103 The superbowl was a little disappointing this year. There wasn't really anything too entertaining commercial wise and the game wasn't too great, amirite?

i really hope you are kidding. the game came down to the last second and the point differential was never more than 5 points.

It was 9-0 at one point. troll

The last few minutes were entertaining, but the rest of the game was pretty boring. This is coming from a football fanatic who loves defensive games.

obviously you are not a real football fan if you didn't enjoy that game. Do you realize that the only other playoff game that was anywhere near as compelling was the Tim Tebow comeback against Pittsburgh? THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST GAMES OF THE SEASON.

I didn't say I didn't like it, but it was boring, in my opinion. Am I not allowed to have an opinion when it comes to the quality of the game? I've seen more exciting games and when it comes down to it, I wouldn't watch it again.

Tebow didn't lead a comeback against the Steelers. The Steelers made the comeback in the 4th quarter and lost in overtime.

I understand that it was a nice, tight game, but it wasn't something that could hold my attention that well. Neither of the teams were playing particularly well till the last few minutes, in my opinion. It certainly wasn't anything too memorable. It seems to me that a game this big should be the hottest subject for at least the next week but no one I know is talking about it (well they are, but nothing positive).

Okay, there were a few amazing things (like that one). although i don't recall seeing that, it was still really funny.

It came down to the last hail mary! Imagine if the pats caught that?! Who cares about the commercials, and the half time show (which is 100% better than last's years halftime, because anything is 100% than the BEP's), when you had a great game?

Yeah, the last few minutes were amazing, but, for a game this big, it feels like the entire game should feel important. The last few minutes was really entertaining, but again, it felt like paying full admission to a movie just to have an hour and fifteen minutes of irrelevant, boring build up with the ending being the only thing remotely interesting. don't get me wrong, huge football fan, but still wasn't enough to get my attention.

... so is there any point to that comment or can I make a mental note to it being unimportant.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I felt like the game was boring because I didn't like either of the teams. I didn't really feel any kind of connection to it.

I feel like this entire page could somehow be used as a sex with your mom analogy...

The Superbowl is always a disappointment because sports should be an activity and not a thing to watch on tv.
