Valentine's Day has been too commercialized; today it's all about heart-shaped candy and stuffed animals and making absolutely everything pink or red. It would be an overall better holiday if, instead of focusing on mushy romantic stuff, it was a day devoted to loving everyone (your partner as well as your family/neighbors/people you see on the street) and everything around you, and just appreciating life a little bit more. amirite?

Okay, you don't have to actually love them, but you could be more friendly/kind/open-minded in general.

@Shadi So I should just fake love someone? Doesn't that seem cruel and unusual?

No, you don't have to fake love them either. You should just be nice to them- nicer than usual.
