+369 Not all of us are witty and chill all the time. We have all accidentally mistaken sarcasm for seriousness before. We have all tried to act cool before. We have all done stupid things before. Just because we are introverted and spend time online doesn't mean we are more intelligent or smarter or deeper than the "general public". It doesn't mean our humor or taste in music is automatically more advanced. It's time we got off our high horses, amirite?

Being internet savvy is the only thing I have going for me. (cry2)

This made me think of "tumblr people"

We have a genius over here.

What? I'm pretty sure people who are extroverted and don't go online believe they're better than us too. If everyone's on a high horse, doesn't that mean no one is? :S

But the air's so lovely up here...

This question literally killed brain cells of mine. The stupidity in the question coupled with the large amount of projection in the question have formed a very uncomfortable, depressing, an ultimately childish post. Sorry, but I only mistaken sarcasm for seriousness unless than person is a pro at sarcasm. Essentially, there are smart and dumb "general" people, just as there are smart and dumb "online" people, based on the two divergences you providing we readers with. If this didn't go over your head, we'll put you in the smart "online" people.

first of all, 1.) your third sentence is pretty much incoherent. 2.) you missed the point of my post entirely. I was saying that some people do seem to have an attitude of eliteness and smugness, based almost purely on the fact that they are not "popular" or "extroverted". They seem to think that just because they may be quiet and spend more time on the internet, they have a more superior taste in music than the mainstream, and are somehow smarter and deeper than others. 3.) *us readers
