I disagree with that. When I see the people who I hate to the core who have done unmentionable things to me, I do think about the many ways I would like to mutilate them. And lets say you're horny and you think you'll do something promiscuous. That doesn't make you a whore, it makes you horny. When a certain attribute about you looks nicer one day you feel mote confident right? I wear eyeliner pretty often. I also do a pretty horrible job most of the time. When I am able to do a good job one day, magically, i am more confident and happy That is the context that OP made this post in.
