If this was case then I'm sure a lot of people would be wearing fanny packs to the restroom.

As a Brit, I always have a good laugh at the phrase "fanny pack." To us, "fanny" means "vagina."

Vagina bag! In America fanny means butt, so the phrase is nearly equally ridiculous. Butt satchel!
